Police probe dumpster fires outside Scarborough schools

Toronto police are investigating three dumpster fires outside of schools in Scarborough.

The first fire occurred outside Pauline Johnson Junior Public School, near Birchmount Road and Sheppard Avenue East, earlier on Friday morning.

Shortly after, police received another call for a fire outside St. Andrews Public School, near Ellesmere and McCowan roads.

Police won’t say where and what time the third fire occurred.

Only minor damage was reported.
