Male fatally struck by freight train in Brampton

Peel Regional Police are investigating after a male pedestrian was fatally struck by a freight train on Saturday early morning.

The incident happened around 4 a.m. near Mill Street and Railroad Street in Brampton.

The male was pronounced at the scene.

At this time, the investigation is ongoing.

Police have not released any further information about the male.
