By News staff

A Toronto man is wanted on several charges including attempted murder in connection with a shooting in the city’s east end earlier this month.

Police say a 22-year-old man walked into a hospital in the Lawrence Avenue East and Morningside Avenue area at 8 p.m. on Oct. 8. It is not known where the shooting took place.

The victim, who was shot on the chest and leg, arrived at hospital in a car, but it is unclear if he drove himself there. The man remains in hospital in critical condition.

Jamion Hines, 23, is wanted on 12 charges that include attempted murder, aggravated assault, fail to comply with probation and several firearms offences.

Hines is five-foot-ten, 190 pounds and with a slight beard. He was last seen wearing a dark-coloured hooded sweatshirt and black pants.

Police say he is considered armed and dangerous, and should not be approached. Anyone who sees him is asked to call 911.
