Service resumes on Lakeshore East line after fatality at Whitby GO Station

One person is dead after an incident at the Whitby GO Station on Sunday.

Train service was suspended between Ajax and Oshawa on the Lakeshore East line for about five hours while police investigated the incident.

The victim is believed to be an older male. The details surrounding his death have not been released.
