Man walks into hospital after Finch and Birchmount shooting

A man walked into a Scarborough hospital after he was shot near Finch Avenue and Birchmount Road on Sunday night.

He showed up at the hospital around 10 p.m. His injuries are not life-threatening and he is expected to recover.

Toronto police later cordoned off a strip mall that was just down the street. It’s not clear if the shooting happened in a business, in the parking lot, or in another location.

There’s no word yet on suspects.
