1 dead in Steeles and Hwy. 27 crash

One man died and at least two other people were hurt in a crash involving a dump truck and two other vehicles.
The crash occurred on Steeles Avenue West, near Highway 27, just after 7 a.m. on Friday.
The driver of an Acura, a 33-yer-old man, was heading west on Steeles when he clipped the back of a dump truck that was turning into a construction site.
The Acura then hit another car, a Honda, head-on.
A 56-year-old man was pronounced dead at the scene. He was sitting in the back seat of the Acura and was not wearing a seat belt. Two other people in the Acura were taken to hospital, but their injuries were not life-threatening.
The people in the Honda were also taken to hospital. Their injuries are not life-threatening. Police did not say how many people were in the Honda.
The driver of the dump truck, a 33-year-old man, was not hurt.
No charges have been laid and police are asking witnesses to come forward.
