Weather guarantee winner takes home $20,400 jackpot!

We have a winner in the 680 NEWS Weather Guarantee contest!

We missed the weather guarantee twice this weekend and our Saturday winner of $20,300 did not call back within 20 minutes. The name drawn for the Sunday jackpot however, did call back within 20 minutes and Malcolm Surycz from Oakville is now $20,400 richer!

“I’m almost speechless,” Surycz told 680 NEWS. “I really don’t know how to say thank you.”

The guaranteed high for Saturday was 1 degree, but it went all the way to 6. On Sunday, the forecasted high was 5 degrees but the actual high, as of 5 p.m., was 10 degrees.

After Surycz’s big win, the Weather Guarantee jackpot is now back to $1,000.
