Boy, 13, charged with murder after cyclist killed in Little Portugal

Toronto police say they have charged a 13-year-old boy with first-degree murder after a cyclist was killed in Little Portugal last Saturday.
Police say it happened in the Frankish and Sheridan avenues area, near Dundas Street West and Dufferin Street, just before 5:30 p.m.
Aaron Rankine-Wright, 19, was riding his bike to work when he was struck from behind by an SUV.
It is alleged the three males in the SUV got out of the vehicle and began to strike and beat the cyclist before running off.
Police say Rankine-Wright died from a stab wound to the chest.
The next day, police arrested a 17-year-old boy and charged him with first-degree murder.
The 13-year-old was arrested on Friday and also charged with first-degree murder. He cannot be identified under the Youth Criminal Justice Act.
Police are still searching for the third suspect, who is also wanted for first-degree murder. He is in his late teens or early 20s.
