2 suspects sought after fire in Pickering parking lot

Durham regional police are searching for two suspects after a fire at a parking lot in Pickering earlier this week.

Several vehicles caught fire on Valley Farm Road, near Brock Road and Highway 401, around 11:30 p.m. on Tuesday.

Police say six vehicles were damaged. The damage is estimated at $80,000.

The fire was knocked down quickly, and there were no injuries.

Police are investigating the fire as a case of arson.

Two males were seen fleeing the scene, but so far, no suspect descriptions have been released.
