Man, 50, injured in Oshawa shooting

A 50-year-old man is in hospital after an early-morning shooting in Oshawa.

Emergency crews were called to the scene on Toronto Avenue, near Ritson Road and Highway 401, just before 5 a.m. Monday.

Police said the victim suffered non-life-threatening injuries.

No arrests have been made and police have not released any suspect details.

The area has been closed while police investigate.
