Police release sketch of suspect wanted in North York assault

Police have released a composite sketch of a suspect wanted in an assault earlier this week in North York.
Investigators say a 24-year-old woman was walking in the area of Bathurst Street and Steeles Avenue around 9:30 p.m. on Monday when she was approached from behind by a man.
Police say the suspect attempted to choke her but she fought back, biting him on the hand and screaming. He fled once people started coming out of their homes to investigate the commotion.
The suspect is described as white, 19 to 21 years old, slim to medium build wiht dark blond hair and clean shaven. He was wearing a navy blue or black shirt, black shorts and black running shoes.
