Toronto police have charged one man after recovering more than $18 million worth of drugs and 65 firearms from an Etobicoke apartment.
Investigators say they executed a search warrant in the area of Park Lawn and Berry Roads on Nov. 17 and allegedly discovered the large quantity of drugs and firearms.
There were 57 handguns and eight long guns allegedly seized and approximately 15,000 rounds of ammunition.
All the weapons are being traced to see if they are connected to any crimes in the GTA.
Investigators also allege a total of 181 kilograms of drugs were recovered, including cocaine, crystal meth, MDMA and fentanyl.
The 22 Division Crime Unit says it’s the biggest single-day seizure of its kind for the Toronto Police.
Daniel Dubajic, 45, of Toronto is facing 78 charges including multiple firearm offences and possession of Schedule 1 substance for the purpose of trafficking.
He will appear in court on Jan. 7. The investigation is still ongoing.
