Teen critically injured in north Etobicoke shooting

A teenager has been critically injured in a shooting near the Humber College campus in north Etobicoke.

Police say were called to an apartment building on Humberline Drive near Humber College Boulevard just after 9:30 p.m. Friday for reports of gunshots.

When they arrived they found a 16-year-old boy suffering from gunshot wounds.

He was taken to hospital in life-threatening condition.

Police tape surrounds the front entrance of the apartment building and evidence markers can be seen on the pavement outside the shattered front doors of the building.

There was no immediate suspect information.
