Knives thrown at firefighters responding to call: police

Firefighters responding to reports of a small fire on the ground near Queen and Dufferin streets had knives thrown at them by a suspect who remains at large, Toronto police tweeted Tuesday afternoon.
Police say no injuries have been reported and they’re looking for a suspect described as a man in his 50s wearing a blue parka who fled the area on foot.
No further details were immediately available.
