Peel police investigating after human remains found in Mississauga

Peel police are investigating after human remains were found in Mississauga.

They were called to the Ninth Line and Argentia Road area, near Highway 401 around 9:30 a.m. on Thursday.

Police say the remains were found near some hydro towers.

Const. Heather Cannon tells 680 NEWS that a passerby noticed the body and called police.

The age and gender have not been revealed at this time.

Peel police have deemed the death non-suspicious.
