Police release video of suspect wanted in connection to Downtown arson

Toronto investigators are on the hunt for a man they say is responsible for starting a blaze at a downtown building, early Wednesday morning.
Witnesses say the suspect walked up to the side of the building – near Richmond and Portland streets – just before 3 a.m. and set a stack of mattresses on fire.

The fire quickly spread to the building causing some damage. Some of the residents’ windows were also blown out as a result of the fire.
Police had to evacuate part of the building as they investigated.
The man ended up fleeing the scene.
He’s being described as having a medium-build, and was last seen wearing blue jogging pants, black high top sneakers with white soles and a blue vest with a jacket over it.

The suspect was carrying a grey garbage bag over his shoulder.
