Teen skateboarder struck by car in downtown Toronto, serious injuries

Paramedics say a teenager was struck by a vehicle while riding a skateboard in downtown Toronto on Monday night.

It happened at around 9:10 p.m. at York Street and Adelaide Street West.

The teen was taken to hospital with serious, but non life-threatening injuries.

Police say the vehicle involved remained on scene.
