Man in hospital after getting struck by vehicle in Brampton

A man is in hospital with serious injuries after he was struck by a vehicle in Brampton on Thursday night.
Police received a call just after 9 p.m. for a collision involving a vehicle and a pedestrian near Bovaird Drive and Bramalea Road.
The extent of injuries are unknown at this time.
Police say the driver remained on scene.
Bramalea Road is shut down from Bovaird to Professors Lake Parkway for the investigation.
