Halton police investigating believed targeted shooting in Oakville

Halton Regional Police are investigating what they believe to be a targeted shooting on Sunday evening in Oakville.

Police say around 6:15 p.m., they responded to a shooting at a residence in the area of Zachary Crescent and Post Road.

One person was found shot multiple times and was taken to hospital.

Police say two suspects left the scene on foot — they are considered armed and dangerous.

There is no suspect descriptions available at this time.

Any witnesses or anyone who has information about this shooting is asked to contact police or Crime Stoppers.
