Oh baby, baby — Britney Spears is pregnant!
The singer announced on Monday that she and her partner, Sam Asghari, are expecting their first child together. The couple got engaged in September of last year and expressed their desire to get pregnant.
Spears has two sons with her ex-husband Kevin Federline, Jayden and Sean.
The big announcement comes months after Spears was freed from her nearly 14-year long conservatorship, which saw her win the freedom to make her own medical, personal and financial decisions again — for the first time since 2008. While publicly demanding an end to her conservatorship, Spears revealed she was prohibited from having another child.

On her verified Instagram account, Spears shared her pregnancy news, writing that she had lost weight for a trip to Maui, only to gain it back.
“I thought ‘Geez… what happened to my stomach ?'” she wrote, “My husband said ‘No you’re food pregnant.'” Next, Spears wrote she got a pregnancy test and, “I am having a baby.”
Spears added that she will not be going out as much because of the paparazzi “getting their money” shot of her “like they unfortunately already have.”
40-year-old Spears also shared that when she was pregnant before, she experienced perinatal depression, and that she is thankful more people talk about it now compared to then.
Spears wrapped her Instagram post, writing “Spreading lots of joy and love.”
Later that day, 28-year-old Asghari, a personal trainer, added an Instagram post accompanied by a painting of a lion family with three members.
“Marriage and kids are a natural part of a strong relationship filled with love and respect. Fatherhood is something i have always looked forward to and i don’t take lightly. It is the most important job i will ever do,” he wrote.
The pair met on the set of Spears’ “Slumber Party” video in 2016.
