Arrest warrants have been issued for two men identified by police after a vicious attack left one victim with life-altering injuries resulting from an assault in Brampton.

Peel police say the alleged incident happened on April 16 at approximately 12:45 a.m. when two victims were at a business in the area of Bramtree Court and Chrysler Drive.

It’s alleged that the two victims were attacked by a group of four men armed with weapons ranging from sticks to bats. After the assault, the four suspects fled in a white 2015 Volkswagen Jetta with an Ontario license plate CFEB 295.

One individual was rushed to a trauma centre after sustaining what police call life-altering injuries. The second victim was transported to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Two of the four men were identified by police with a warrant issued for their subsequent arrest. Manjot Singh, 25, of Brampton, is wanted on multiple offences, including attempted murder.

Gurkirat Singh, 24, of Markham, faces similar charges, including attempted murder.

“The other two suspects remain unidentified at this time,” Peel police said in a news release.

“Investigators are working diligently to obtain their identity and bring them before the courts. All of the involved suspects are encouraged to speak with legal counsel and make arrangements to surrender to police.”
