Temperatures to hit mid 20s next week in Toronto for first time in 2022

For the first time in 2022, temperatures are set to hit over 20 C in Toronto.
According to the forecast, the region will see a high of 21 C next Tuesday, with the warmth continuing through the end of the week.

CityNews weather specialist Michelle Mackey said areas closer to the cold water of Lake Ontario will be a few degrees cooler than the expected highs, but it will be the warmest air mass of the season so far.
“Wednesday in particular looks to provide an early taste of summer! Enough to change over your wardrobe and pack away the winter gear!” said Mackey.
The rest of this week will continue to see below-average temperatures around 13-16 C with heavy rain expected Tuesday through Wednesday morning.
