Man, 30, dies in hospital after shooting in Brampton

Peel Regional Police is investigating a homicide after a 30-year-old man died due to a shooting in Brampton.

The alleged targeted incident happened in the area of Kennedy Road North and Sandalwood Parkway around 1:30 a.m. on April 30.

Officers located a 30-year-old man inside a local restaurant, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. The victim was transported to a hospital, where he later died from his injuries.

Police identified the man as 30-year-old Ricardo Bryan of Brampton.

Investigators believe that Bryan was the intended target and call it an isolated incident. No other injuries were reported.

There is no suspect information at this time. Police are calling on the public for additional details or dashcam footage.
