Man seriously injured, suspect sought after early-morning shooting in Toronto

A man has been rushed to hospital with serious injuries after a shooting near Shuter and Parliament. No word on whether a suspect has been arrested or not.

Toronto police are searching for a gunman after a man was shot and seriously injured outside an apartment building near Regent Park.

Investigators say the incident happened just before 3 a.m. on Wednesday, in the area of Shuter and Parliament Streets.

Toronto paramedics tell CityNews the male victim was found with gunshot wounds and taken to hospital with serious injuries.

No one else was injured, and police believe the gunman acted alone.

Investigators have not released a suspect description.
