Three people dead after vehicle collided into tree in Brampton

Three people have been pronounced dead early Saturday morning after a vehicle collided into a tree in Brampton.
Peel police say it happened in the area of Conestoga Drive and Elmvale Avenue, north of Sandalwood Parkway, and they received the call around 2 a.m.
Officers say when emergency crews arrived on scene, the vehicle was engulfed in flames.
No further details have been released about the victims, including their ages or genders.
The cause of the crash is unknown at this time.
Police closed Conestoga Road at Sandalwood Parkway for the investigation, but the area has since reopened..
