York police looking for suspects, witnesses following double shooting at lounge

Police in York Region are looking for suspects and witnesses after an early morning shooting at a restaurant lounge in Vaughan left two men injured.

Police say they responded to a call for a shooting, which they say was an isolated incident, around 2:30 a.m. Sunday at the Est. 2020 Restaurant and Lounge at 3603 Langstaff Road.

A 25-year-old man and 38-year-old man were found shot and taken to hospital, where they remain in stable condition.

Investigators believe there is no threat to public safety.

Police say there were several potential witnesses at the lounge and investigators are urging them to come forward.

There is no suspect description available.
