Police investigate pair of early morning shootings

Two men are in hospital following separate early morning shooting incidents.

Police say they were called to an area on Pearl Street in the Entertainment District just after 3 a.m. Sunday

When they arrived they found a man suffering from non-life threatening injuries and he was transported to hospital.

No further updates or suspect description have been released at this time.

More than an hour later, police investigated reports of gunshots in a North York neighbourhood.

Police were called to the area of Jane Street and Shoreham Drive, near York University, just before 4:30 a.m.

They located a man suffering from non-life threatening injuries.

Anyone with information on either shooting is asked to contact police.
