Toronto police search for suspect that left woman with life-altering injuries

Toronto police are searching for a female suspect who left a woman with life-altering injuries after being shoved to the ground east of the city.
Investigators say on Sunday, around 9 a.m., a 62-year-old woman was walking westbound on a sidewalk in the Danforth Avenue West and Rhodes Avenue area.
The suspect approached the woman from behind and forcibly pushed her to the ground unprovoked. She then fled the area on foot.

The victim was taken to a hospital with life-altering injuries.
The female suspect is between 30-40 years old with dark hair.
She was last seen wearing a white hooded sweater under a puffy yellow jacket, blue jeans, and orange running shoes.
