4 sent to hospital after fiery Hwy. 401 crash in Pickering

Four people are in hospital with injuries following a collision on Highway 401 in Pickering on Friday morning.
The four-vehicle crash occurred around 7:30 a.m. in the westbound lanes of the highway approaching Whites Road.
One of the vehicles involved caught fire and was blocking the highway transfer from the express to the collector lanes.

Police confirm four people were taken to hospital.
OPP say the transfer will be closed throughout the morning for collision cleanup and road repairs.
