4 suspects sought in Markham carjacking

Police are searching for four suspects wanted in connection with a carjacking in Markham.
Police say just after 9:30 p.m on Dec. 12 they attempted to pull over a suspicious vehicle in the area of Kennedy Road and Highglen Avenue when the car fled the scene. The vehicle then hit a light pole and four suspects fled the area before police arrived.
Shortly after, a woman was sitting in her car when three suspects opened the door and demanded she get out. Police say she was not injured in the incident.
Police are appealing for witnesses who may been in the area or anyone who has video surveillance or dashcam video of the incident to contact them.
