Man injured after stabbing in Scarborough

A man was injured after being stabbed inside an apartment in Scarborough.

Toronto police were called to the building in the Eglinton Avenue East and Markham Road area around 2:30 p.m. on Monday for reports of a stabbing.

Officers located a man with injuries and rushed him to a local hospital.

Paramedics tell CityNews the man is over the age of 60 and suffered serious but non-life-threatening injuries.

There is no suspect information at this time.
