Two people stabbed in Sherbourne Street and Dundas Street East area

Toronto police are investigating a homicide after a stabbing in the Sherbourne Street and Dundas Street East area on Sunday afternoon that left one man dead.

Officers arrived on scene around 4:30 p.m. and located one victim with multiple life-threatening stab wounds who was later pronounced dead.
Paramedics reported a second victim was taken to hospital with minor injuries.
Police have one person in custody in relation to the incident and report that there is no ongoing threat to public safety.
