Fire officials tell CityNews a firefighter fell off a landing and into the basement. Paramedics say he was taken to hospital with serious, but non-life-threatening injuries.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
First and foremost, my thoughts and prayers are with our injured team member. We are all deeply appreciative for our Paramedic and trauma centre healthcare professionals for all they do to protect our team.
