Police seek men who threatened students with knife at east end school

Toronto police are on the hunt for two men who threatened a group of students with a knife at their school in the Carlaw Avenue and Gerrard Street area.

Police say it happened on Wednesday, October 18, at around 12:49 p.m. at a program run by the Oasis Alternative Secondary School

Two men approached the students during school hours and one of them pulled out a knife while threatening the group, police said.

No one was injured.

The suspects are described as:

  • Suspect 1: Five foot three, with a slim build and brown/grey short hair with stubble and a light brown complexion. He was wearing lights colours and had a red draw string bag.
  • Suspect 2: Male, Black, with a fair complexion. Five foot six with a muscular build.
