Man seriously injured in Cabbagetown stabbing, suspect arrested

Toronto police have a suspect in custody following a stabbing in Cabbagetown that left a man with serious injuries.

Officers were called to the area of Sherbourne Street and Dundas Street East around 12:15 p.m. on Wednesday and located a man with stab wounds.

Paramedics say he was taken to hospital with serious but non-life-threatening injuries. They also assessed another person at the scene.

No further details have released but police say the investigation is ongoing.
