Police say they have arrested three suspects following a break-in at an auto dealership in Oakville last week.

Around 11:30 p.m. on Tuesday, July 9, officers with Halton Regional Police Service (HRPS) responded to Budds’ Subaru on South Service Road West near Highway 403 after an alarm was triggered at the dealership.

The suspects fled in a grey sedan before officers arrived but officers stopped the vehicle near the intersection of Wyecroft Road and Bronte Road and arrested two of the three suspects.

After the vehicle was pulled over, police say the third suspect ran away on foot but officers arrested him a short time later at a nearby hotel.

Christopher Cabu, 49, of Toronto, and Richard Fernandez, 44, of York, each face three charges including break and enter and possession of break-in instruments. Cabu has also been charged with fail to comply with release order, while Fernandez faces a charge of fail to comply with undertaking.

Johnnathan Rayo, 32, of North York, has been charged with break and enter, possession of break-in instruments, fail to comply probation order, and breach of conditional sentence order.

The suspects have been held in custody pending a bail hearing.
