Bomb squad seen near Toronto City Hall for suspicious package investigation
Toronto police have reopened roads in the area around Toronto City Hall following a suspicious package investigation that saw the bomb squad deployed.
Police haven’t released many details, but the Explosives Disposal Unit was seen in the area, with a police robot examining a parked car.
Police say no package was located and the investigation is ongoing.

Employees at City Hall received a security alert stating:
“There is currently an active investigation [at] City Hall. Corporate Security have addressed any impacts to City Hall operations.”
Police had closed Bay Street from Dundas Street West to Queen Street West but have since given the all-clear.
