Man wanted for assault in Toronto’s Little Tibet neighbourhood

Toronto police are searching for a man who is wanted in connection with an assault investigation in the city’s Little Tibet neighbourhood.

Officers were called to the area of King Street West and Dufferin Street at approximately 4:00 a.m. on Saturday.

Authorities say the suspect befriended the victim on social media and then agreed to meet up in-person. While hanging out, the pair allegedly got into an argument that ended with one of them assaulting the other.

The suspect then fled the area and the victim was transported to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

The suspect is described as a man in his 20s. He is six-feet-tall with short curly brown hair, unshaven facial hair and wears prescription glasses. He was last seen wearing black pants, black shoes and a blue winter jacket.

Investigators encourage anyone with information to contact police.
