‘High-risk offender’ back in custody following community alert in Oshawa

A man Durham Regional Police labelled as a high-risk offender was re-arrested after being the subject of a community alert in Oshawa.

Keith Theodore Constantin, 45, had been released after serving his sentence for breaching a court order and was living in Oshawa.

On Monday, police said Constantin was taken into custody without incident. He’s facing a charge of breach of recognizance and was held for a bail hearing.

At the time of his release, authorities noted that the accused posed a significant risk to the community, especially children.
