Lucas is a web producer and digital reporter for CityNews Toronto. Before joining the CityNews team, Lucas graduated from Sheridan College and Ryerson University's joint journalism program, gaining experience as a senior news writer for theScore in Toronto and as a digital marketing and social media coordinator with Sheridan College in Oakville, Ont. He was hired by 680 NEWS in 2018 as a digital editor before excelling in several roles, including anchor, editor, reporter, and board operator. Lucas excels at covering wide-ranging topics and has a keen eye for breaking news. In his spare time, Lucas enjoys volunteering at local animal shelters and hanging out with his own rescue dog, Ruby.
