Woman, 46, critically injured after being struck by vehicle in south Etobicoke

A 46-year-old woman has suffered life-threatening injuries after being struck by a vehicle in south Etobicoke.

According to the Toronto Police Service, the woman, was crossing the street at the intersection of Park Lawn Road and Kinsdale Boulevard, just north of The Queensway when she was struck by a silver car that was making a left turn.

Officers say the crash happened just after 10:30 p.m. on Saturday.

The woman was transported to a trauma centre with critical injuries and remains in life-threatening condition.

Police say the driver of the vehicle remained at the scene.
