Motorcyclist injured in collision with vehicle in East Gwillimbury

A motorcyclist suffered life-threatening injuries in a multi-vehicle collision in East Gwillimbury.

Police in York Region say just after 8:30 a.m. on October 17, a motorcycle and a dark grey SUV were travelling westbound on Ravenshoe Road near Kennedy Raod when, for unknown reasons, the motorcycle struck the rear of the SUV, causing the vehicle to veer into the eastbound lanes and collide with a silver pickup truck.

The 32-year-old motorcyclist was airlifted to a Toronto trauma centre with life-threatening injuries. The occupants of the other two vehicles were not seriously injured.
