Tow truck shot at in Brampton: Peel police

Peel Regional Police are investigating after a tow truck was shot at in a parking lot in Brampton on Thursday night.
Officers were called to a gas station in the Bovaird Drive and Mountainash Road area just before 6 p.m.
Investigators tell CityNews a suspect ran up to the tow truck and fired shots at it before fleeing.
The tow truck was occupied by a driver, who fled the scene in the vehicle before police arrived.
Shell casings were found in the area.
Police don’t believe the driver was injured, but are urging them to come forward.
