Man Arrested For Sexual Assault Allegations After Holding Made Up Events

Police have arrested a man in connection with a sexual assault investigation.
It’s alleged that the accused, Patrick White, 64, of Toronto would lure his victims by claiming to look for volunteers to help out an event – “Special Events 2008” – that was entirely made up.
“We believe that he’s targeting potentially victims who have learning disabilities or mental disabilities, and we’re seeking public assistance in finding other victims,” relates Det. Ann-Marie Tupling.
White is facing charges of sexual assault and sexual exploitation. He made a court appearance Thursday morning.
Police believe there may be more victims who haven’t come forward yet, and are asking anyone with information to call (416) 808-5505 or Crime Stoppers at (416) 222-TIPS.
