Two charged in Dundas Square parking lot stabbing

TORONTO, Ont. – Police have charged two men allegedly involved in a stabbing in the Green P parking lot underneath Yonge-Dundas Square.
A security guard was stabbed and rushed to hospital Thursday, where he is currently listed with non life-threatening injuries.
The guard was conscious and breathing after the stabbing, according to emergency officials.
Police told CityNews the guard intercepted three suspects who were allegedly breaking into vehicles. That is when the stabbing occurred.
Two suspects were arrested just outside the parking lot with several items in their possession. Those items were taken by police and put into evidence.
Jeorge Erny, 21, is facing five charges including mischief and assault with a weapon.
Justin Squires, is also charged with mischief along with two counts of possession of property obtained by crime.
A third suspect, a 17-year-old boy, was released with no charged laid.
Following the stabbing there was a delay as cars tried to exit the lot, with police asking questions and canvassing the area for clues.
