17-year-old boy shot to death outside Ajax church

TORONTO, Ont. – A 17-year-old boy was shot and killed in a church parking lot following a party in Ajax, Ont.
Shots were fired at around 1:30 a.m. Friday after a fight broke out outside St. Nedela Macedonian Orthodox Church, near Westney Road South and Bayly Street West.
A car partially covered with yellow tarp remains in the parking lot, marking the spot near where the teen was shot.
The church was rented out for the party, with about 100 people in attendance.
Durham Regional Police said after the shooting, several suspects got into a vehicle and drove off.
No arrests have been made.
