Infoway recently launched “Better Health Together” where patients can share their stories on how digital health has made a difference in their lives.
“The network of systems created to securely connect and share health information among authorized clinicians is helping improve the care Canadians receive,” said Richard Alvarez, President and CEO, Canada Health Infoway in a release.
“As well, Canadians are increasingly embracing digital health themselves to manage their own care and the health and wellness of their loved ones.”
A Harris-Decima Survey finds 86-percent of Canadians believe it is important that their doctors use electronic medical records and 90-percent who already access their own health information online describe the experience as positive.
The Better Health Together program allows Canadians to share their experience, its advantages or to learn more about the ways that digital health can empower individuals and their loved ones. You can join the conversation online, or on Facebook, or Twitter.
