Teacher charged after alleged sex assaults at Brampton high school

Peel regional police have charged a 49-year-old man in connection with sexual assaults that allegedly took place while he was teaching at a Brampton high school.
In a release, police said they were made aware of the allegations in February 2022 and launched an investigation.
The alleged sexual assaults took place at an unnamed high school between November 2019 and October 2020.
On Thursday, police announced an arrest.
Bentley Rattary, of Hamilton, is facing two counts each of sexual assault and sexual interference.
“At the time of the incidents, Bentley Rattray was employed as a teacher at the high school,” police confirmed.
