Police release photo of possible Scarborough kidnap victim

Police are continuing to search for a woman who was last seen being forced into a car in Scarborough on Thursday afternoon.

Investigators say the woman was walking on the sidewalk in the area of Guildwood Parkway and Kingston Road just after 12:00 p.m. when a male in a car approached her, cutting her off on the sidewalk.

The woman was reportedly grabbed and forced into the car, which then sped off.

The suspect is described as between 20 and 30 years of age with a light complexion, black hair and a beard or goatee. He was last seen wearing a light coloured shirt and an off-white cap.

The vehicle is believed to be a white two or four door car with a blue emblem on the rear.

The woman is described as being between 20 and 30 years of age with long dark hair. She was last seen carrying a bag, but no other description of her clothing was released.

On Sunday, police released a photo of the woman they believe may have been the kidnap victim.

“Anyone who can identify her or has information about this incident is asked to contact investigators,” said police.
