Toronto massage therapist charged with sexual assault

A registered massage with clients spanning the GTA faces a sexual assault charge following an alleged incident during a treatment session with a woman.
Halton police said that on Nov. 5, investigators arrested 66-year-old Li Ming Qu of Toronto and charged the man with one count of sexual assault.
The charge stems from an incident in July 2022, when a female victim contacted police after receiving treatment from Qu at a spa in Halton Hills.
The 66-year-old was released from custody pending a court appearance, police said.
Authorities say Qu worked as a registered massage therapist at various locations in the GTA and believe there could be more victims.
